Problem.
Israel has many NGO’s, groups and foundations that are concerned with a wide range of social causes and agendas. Unfortunately, most organizations are strapped for volunteers while there are many who would like to donate their time, but do not wish to be affiliated with a specific group. Additionally, organizations face difficulty when trying to produce projects, especially those that require specifically skilled staff (i.e. video editor, event planner). As a result, there is a constraint on the net pro-social action.
Solution.
Research the pro-social environment and create a toolbox that empowers groups and individuals and streamlines common challenges. An accompanying platform will utilize personalized profiles to match projects requiring specifically skilled volunteers with people possessing the desired skill and willing to donate their time and effort. Using the platform allows for coordination between different efforts, optimizes resource allocation and enables causes to tap into demographics that do not already participate in pro-social action, making volunteerism more accessible.

Interface.
The main navigation page showcases different projects, already filtered according to the ‘Skill Tags’ associated with the user profile. The projects size hierarchy reflects relevance to the user, including past cooperations and ‘Interest Tags’ - indications the user makes of causes that are near and dear to them.
Interaction.
The user can quickly scan what opportunities are available, remove those that are irrelevant, and hone in on interesting projects.

Elaboration.
After choosing a specific opportunity, the user can learn more about the project, the organization, see the team and relevant case studies of similar ventures. These outline expectations regarding estimated time investment, specific skill requirements and allow the user to make an informed decision.
Communication.
An internal messaging system allows project managers to send personalized requests to users they have previously cooperated with, keeps a record of all questions and answers regarding a project, and enable a user to volunteer their skills for a specific role.
